To book your wedding ceremony and reception at The Luttrell Arms Hotel, Dunster please read the following information. To discuss any aspect of your wedding and ceremony booking call our wedding and events team on 01643 821555.

Your Booking with The Luttrell Arms Hotel.

A provisional booking will be held for you for 30 days without a deposit or booking confirmation. If we receive an enquiry for the same date we will advise you immediately. You will then be required to either confirm the date or cancel the booking within 24 hours of being notified. If, after this time, if we have not received confirmation and a deposit, your provisional booking will be released to the other party.

Should you wish to confirm your booking, we will require the following information.

a)  The name of the bride and groom/organiser with the relevant address, email and telephone numbers.
b)  Confirmation of the date required and the minimum number of guests attending.
c)  The booking has to be accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of £500.00.

The Hotel will then confirm in writing that your booking has been accepted.

Where the event date is within 30 days of the booking, both confirmation and full payment of the anticipated costs is to be made. Confirmation must include minimum numbers with an agreed price per head.

Our charges and payments

The prices charged for your wedding will be agreed with you at the time of your confirmation. We will arrange a meeting to discuss menu, drinks and provision of our other wedding services.

In addition to the confirmation deposit of £500 the final payment is required along with your written confirmation of final numbers at least 14 days prior to the event. Our charges will be based on your confirmation of the final number of guests. Any additional payments will need to be settled before departure.

Booking our hotel rooms

The hotel has 28 bedrooms any of which may be reserved for you and your guests. We advise that check in times for all guests are after 2pm on the day of arrival and by 11am on the day of departure.

At the weekends, the hotel operates a minimum two night policy which will not be waivered. We regret we are unable to hold rooms without payment. If the wedding party are not booking all 28 bedrooms we reserve the right to move guests closer to the function room so as to limit the disturbance to other guests.

Cancellation Policy

In the unfortunate event of a cancellation, the hotel will require written notice at least 6 weeks prior to the date booked. All deposits are non-refundable and in the event of a booking being cancelled the Hotel will retain the deposit.

Insurance:  We suggest that you take out wedding insurance to protect you for any eventuality.

Rooms:  Where individuals or groups have booked accommodation, our standard cancellation Terms and Conditions apply.  Please see these in full on our website, or ask reservations.

The Hotel reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of behaviour of the client, guest or representative and the client must take all steps necessary for corrective action should this be necessary. In the event of failure to comply with management requests, the Hotel reserves the right to terminate the contract or stop the event without being liable for any refund or compensation.
